BOTOX
Botox is a purified protein toxin that has been used medically since 1978. Cosmetic Botox is a non-surgical treatment consisting of an injection of the purified protein to temporarily prevent muscles from contracting. This significantly reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles – especially crow’s feet and frown and forehead lines. The procedure is quick and lasts, on average, 3 to 4 months.
Botox is a safe drug when used properly by a skilled physician. It has been used for almost 20 years to treat muscle spasms in the eye and for adults and children with Cerebral Palsy or who have suffered strokes.
Following injection there are no limitations to physical activity, bathing or other daily activities. Some patients experience transient redness and, very rarely, bruising. Cosmetic Botox does not affect skin sensation and can be combined with other cosmetic procedures.
Fine lines on your face can often leave you looking tired, angry or aged. BOTOX will revive and rejuvenate your skin leaving its appearance softer and smoother.
BOTOX is a protein that occurs naturally in the body. It is able to gently relax any specific muscles that cause wrinkles. As these muscles relax, the skin that covers them becomes smoother and taut.
BOTOX can be used to reduce:
- Frown lines
- Fine lines on the forehead
- Fine lines around the eyes
- Crowes feet
